Series: "Moon-fish"

This photo series is meant to be a test of a hypothesis, which I already had as a child, and which I still consider interesting. The idea is that man can never be alone, because he is something more than just himself from the start. We often imagine persons to talk to, opponents, friends, enemies and even sometimes pets. But most importantly, we are trying to create ourselves with the help of our imagination. In my photos I am trying to explicate this process.

The name of the series is that of a poem, which I wrote many years ago.

I am siting at the end of the steep coast,
trying to catch the moon fish.
It looks at me,
laughs,
and doesn't want to be caught.

I read new books to it
and sing the familiar songs.

So we spend the time together.
